Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods, glass and 2nd hand equipment.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Digital Services

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Events

No refunds on event tickets unless:

  • the organizer cancels the event. (email your ticket for verification, 100% refund)
  • Serious injury or death (documentation will need to be presented before a partial refund can be made)

Services

For services under R 1000, full payment is to be made before the session. Please ensure a deposit of no less than 50% to confirm booking. The balance is to be paid on arrival, before session or performance start, unless prior arrangements have been made via info@earthyhumanmusic.co.za

Web

Our rates are some of the most competitive in the industry, because we include your hosting, domain name registration, emails and SEO, within your monthly contribution.

There are no refunds on initial site build, domain name registration and hosting. Furthermore maintenance is also non refundable as your maintenance fees ensure that your site stays active, updated and secure. Failure to pay within the first week of the month would result in an immediate disconnection of service. Should you wish to reactivate your site, a reactivation fee will be applicable, relative to the size of your website’s database.

Missed payments or and unsettled invoices will result in site deactivation within 14 days from the due day on invoice.

Cancellation of web service:

If you wish to terminate our service agreement, 2 months notice is to be given along with your cancellation fee. This offsets our costs for FTP Database removal. We keep your data for 60 days, in the event you wish to reactivate. Within that 60 day window, your data is made available for you to download. Immediate deletion of data can be arranged at a cost relative to your site’s database file size.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If we do not receive payment for services rendered or if equipment is not returned or damaged, the human who rented our gear on paper will be held liable to a minimum of R 1,500 in damages as a standard reparation fee.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@earthyhumanmusic.co.za to resolve your issue.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
